"Because of
Paradise,
I have been able to
grow more as a Christian, all while living in a real family
environment."

Every
Friday a van is sent to the Atlanta area
to pick up post-dated foods that several
grocery stores donate to ministries in
need of food. The food is brought
to Toccoa, where several volunteers -
including students that live at Paradise
- come to help sort the food. |
 |
 |
The food is
sorted into different boxes for different
purposes. After the food is sorted out, a
majority of it is loaded back on to the truck so
that it can be delivered to other ministries
that provide food for those who are in need.
|
|
We
generally receive bread, pastries, and
produce from the food run. On
occasion we will receive cheese,
condiments, and other nice surprises.
It's always a blessing to see what the
Lord has in store for us each Friday.
Once the sorting and loading is
complete, we offer thanks to the Lord
for His provision. |
